Class Description

Love drawing, comics, books, animals, or character design? Want to explore your style and learn new techniques? Join our Illustration Crew! This class introduces key drawing skills, still life, animals, character design, and simple composition. It’s great for beginners and for students who’ve attended before—our tutor supports everyone at their own level and helps them continue growing. Students will build skills through fun exercises in character basics, shapes, storytelling, sketch-journaling, and working with different materials from graphite pencils to colours. With a maximum of 14 students, the class offers plenty of hands-on guidance. We’re excited to welcome our new tutor, Annmaree Foy-Turner, who brings years of art-teaching experience and a warm, colourful approach. This is a supportive space where teens can create, explore, and grow their artistic voice. 🧒 Ages 11 – 18 years. (check out our Kids illustration Club for under 11yrs) 🎨 All materials provided 👩‍🎨 Led by an experienced art tutor & artist; Annmaree Foy-Turner What to Bring: 🥪 Water bottle and a snack 👕 Kids should wear old clothes—we get messy when we’re having fun! Additional Info: 🔹 All staff are police-vetted for your peace of mind. 🔹 Parents are not allowed in the classroom once the workshop begins. If your child needs a little encouragement, feel free to stay on-site. 🔹Shoes must be worn during the class 🔹Workshop timings: Classes begin promptly at 3:45 pm and conclude at 5:15 pm. Please ensure timely drop-off and pick-up, as our studios operate back-to-back sessions.
