Tutor and Student annual Art Showcase
02 February to 01 March 2026
This exhibition is open to all current and past tutors and students who have taught or attended an art class, a workshop or a casual session at Estuary Arts Centre between July 2024 and December 2025
Artists can submit one artwork for the exhibition in any medium due to space constraints . The exhibition will be curated by Kim Boyd.
The cost to exhibit: $5 per work (This fee will contribute toward admin and advertising costs)
Commission on sales: 25%
Delivery of work:

Cost: FREE to exhibit and free to use Pop-up Lab.

The Exhibition will be on display in galleries One, Two and Four of Estuary Arts Centre, while the Pop-up Print Lab will take place in gallery Three. In conjunction with the exhibition and Pop-up Lab there will be a series of hands-on workshops, artists talks and professional development sessions which could be delivered either in-person or online over the activation weekends.

Estuary Art Centre Members Gallery
FREE to exhibit each month
Open to all current paid-up members to exhibit one or more artworks for a 4-week period.
Artwork is changed and rotated. There is no charge to display your work and the commission rate is only 25%.
Contact us and let us know which month you would like to exhibit.
All types of artwork will be accepted, painting, printmaking, photography, jewellery, mixed media, drawing, textiles, ceramics and sculpture.
Note: ceramics and sculpture cannot be over 20kg in weight due to health and safety concerns.
On occasion the Members Gallery will be closed and used for large group exhibitions such as the annual Hospice exhibition, the EAC Members show and the Hibiscus and Bays Art Awards. In this case artists can collect their work or keep it here at EAC in storage for the duration of these “special exhibitions”.
Artwork must:
1) Be ready to hang – must have a string/line or for unframed work Velcro hooks
2) For Sale and include 25% commission
3) Have a swing tag on every work with the same details as on your delivery docket
4) Sign and agree to the EACT Terms and Conditions
5) Provide a digital artist bio/statement for marketing purposes
6) Provide high quality digital images (300 dpi, jpeg) of your artwork which will be used for the Online
Delivery of artwork: Artist to contact EAC to arrange your month / slot and delivery day/time.
Marketing will include advertising in local papers and magazines, Social media (Facebook and Instagram), websites like Eventfinder, Google, Our Auckland, EAC website.
