What are the age groups for the classes?

We offer tailored classes for two specific age groups:
 • Youth Art (5 – 10 years old): Focused on fun, messy, and creative exploration.
 • Teen Art (11 – 18 years old): Designed to develop specific art disciplines and more advanced techniques.

Note: Some workshops may have a higher minimum age requirement, especially if they involve sharp tools or more hazardous materials.

What are the session times?

We have a number of different session lengths for the school holidays and you can choose the format that works best for your Tamariki.
 • Half-Day Sessions: Available as morning, midday or afternoon sessions.
 • Full-Day Sessions: These run from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm.

I’ve booked before on this website; why isn't my login working?

Accepted Answer

We are currently transitioning to a new booking system (Bookeo) to make your experience smoother. Even if you have booked with us in the past, you may need to create a new login the first time you use the new system. This will allow you to track your bookings and manage any prepaid credits easily. We will have fully transitioned all of our bookings by Term 2, 2026.

How do the Prepaid Package discounts work?

Prepaid packages are essentially "virtual punch cards" that allow you to buy classes in bulk at a discounted rate. Here is how to use them:
1. Purchase the Package First: Look for the "Prepaid" button in our booking widget to see available packages.
2. Earn Credits: Once purchased, your account is credited with a set number of sessions (e.g., a 2-day deal).
3. Book Your Classes: When you make a booking, ensure you are logged in. The system will automatically detect your credits and apply them to the booking instead of asking for payment.

Can I use one prepaid package for multiple children?

Accepted Answer

Prepaid credits are automatically applied by the system only when booking for one participant at a time. To ensure your credits apply correctly, please log in and book each child’s spot as a separate transaction.

What should my child bring to class?

Accepted Answer

• Clothing: Art is messy! Please ensure children wear "old" clothes that you don't mind getting stained.
 • Food & Drink: For full-day sessions, please pack a lunch and a water bottle. For half-day sessions, a small snack is recommended.
 • Sun Protection: For breaks spent outdoors, please provide a sun hat.

Where is the Estuary Arts Centre located?
