About
Re-Loved - Giving used materials a new life
Group thematic exhibition
Exhibition opening: Saturday 31 October from 3pm
Re-Loved is a celebration of creativity, sustainability, and innovation. Supported by the Creative Communities Scheme, this exhibition showcases artists who accepted the challenge of reimagining and reinventing materials that might otherwise have been discarded. Through inventive approaches to repurposing, recycling, and reusing a diverse range of materials, artists have transformed the ordinary into extraordinary works of art.
Each artwork reflects a commitment to sustainability while demonstrating the limitless possibilities of creative reuse. From found objects and reclaimed textiles to recycled plastics, paper, metal, and timber, the exhibition highlights how contemporary artists can give new life and meaning to materials, reducing waste and encouraging thoughtful consumption.
Re-Loved invites visitors to consider the value of the objects that surround us and to see how imagination can transform unwanted materials into compelling and meaningful artworks. Together, these works celebrate environmental responsibility while showcasing the diverse talents of local artists.
