Outstanding Artist Award in Painting:

Jocelyn Friis

My art is a gentle nudge to pause a while, and to reflect on how we can bring peace, hope and contentment to our lives.
Through my work, I share the message that art is for everyone and that engaging with both creativity and nature can foster peace and harmony.

Outstanding Artist Award in Sculpture:

Chris Wadsworth

The natural radiance of his materials, combined with vivid colour blends and smooth ombré effects, recalls the vibrant visual culture of the 1980s—when synth-driven music, neon fashion, and UV light shaped a new language of play and expression.

Māori Art Award:

Sandy Gaskell

Sandy’s interest in the history of Aotearoa and the effects colonialism and Te Tiriti O Waitangi have had on tangata whenua, are the inspiration behind her more creative art pieces.
