Between Hibiscus Flowers is an artist’s tribute to her young adulthood. This exhibition collection is a celebration and closing of a long and bountiful era on the Hibiscus Coast. Between Hibiscus Flowers is inspired by the experiences, feelings and musings of ‘growing up’. Filled with exploration, overseas travel, dreamy landscapes and expressive techniques, Emmeline's works are created from memories, imagination and nostalgia. Within these works ideas of reciprocity and connection shines through. The collection is a sum of all the joy and meaning Emmeline has enjoyed and created while being raised on the Hibiscus Coast. Each is a snapshot, a landscape often with people, which draws you into a moment in time. Joyous and dreamy, the paintings invite you to explore feelings of reminiscence and contentment
