In this mosaic class, you’ll dive into the fun and creative process of making your own mosaic artwork from scratch. Using colorful pieces of glass, ceramic, tile, and other materials, you'll learn how to plan a design, cut and place your pieces, and apply grout to finish it off. We’ll cover everything step by step, so no previous experience is needed—just a willingness to try something new. Along the way, you’ll pick up useful tips and techniques, explore different styles and patterns, and maybe even find your own unique approach to mosaic art. It’s a hands-on, relaxing activity that lets you slow down and focus while creating something beautiful and personal. Whether you’re here to make a one-of-a-kind gift, a home decoration, or just enjoy the process, this class is all about having fun and getting inspired. Cost Breakdown Member: $313.50 Incl. GST = $39.19 per class ($15.68 per hour) all materials included. Cost Breakdown Non Member: $330.00 Incl. GST = $41.25 per class ($16.50 per hour) all materials included. Supplies: Most materials are provided. Class material costs will cover small to medium sized mosaics. You can purchase mosaic bases and specialist items directly from Sonya. If you are wanting to do a large sized mosaic we request you bring your own extra materials, i.e., grout and tiles. Please note all materials are to stay on-site and to be used for this course only. We do not supply materials for home projects.
