Class Description

Learn the art of weaving while creating your very own woven butterfly, mat or wall-hanging décor piece! In this fun and hands-on workshop, kids will explore basic weaving techniques, experiment with colourful yarns, and add beautiful embellishments to create a one-of-a-kind textile design. This creative session encourages fine motor skills, patience, and artistic expression, while giving kids a stunning, handmade piece to be proud of. Perfect for young makers, no prior weaving experience needed — all materials are provided! Join us for both morning an afternoon workshops and we look after your child during lunchtime for FREE What to Bring: 🥪 A snack and water bottle if attending one session 🍱 A lunchbox if attending both morning and afternoon workshops 👕 Kids should wear old clothes—we get messy when we’re having fun! Additional Info: 🔹 Children booked into both workshops will be supervised during the lunch break at no extra cost. 🔹 All staff are police-vetted for your peace of mind. 🔹 Parents are not allowed in the classroom once the workshop begins. If your child needs a little encouragement, feel free to stay on-site. We have comfortable seating in the foyer and the Driftwood Café is conveniently located in the building.
