Teens Pottery Wheel Club, 11+ Term4
Mondays, 3:45pm- 5:15pm with Sylvia Sinel
Class Description
During this 8-week Pottery Wheel course, teens will learn how to throw, finish, and decorate their own pottery. This is a unique opportunity to experience the art of wheel-throwing from a young age and continue building on existing skills. It’s perfect for students who have already been attending and are ready to take their ceramic practice to the next level. Please check out our Thursday clay club for absolute beginners. Each week focuses on a specific step: starting with sketching the project, moving on to throwing a simple form on the wheel, and then advancing to decorating and glazing techniques. The finished product will be entirely up to their imagination—encouraging creative expression and experimentation! Join us for an amazing class and learn all the essential basics to launch your journey as a ceramic artist. Including firing and glazing costs for up to five standard sized pieces per term. Option to purchase additional firing and glazing. 🧒 Ages 11+ 🎨 All materials provided 👩🎨 Led by an experienced art tutor & artist Sylvia Sinel ❗ No class on Labour Day, Mon 27th Oct. - Last class is held on Mon, 8th Dec.
