Class Description

Teen Painting: Self-Portraits & Creative Expression This course empowers teens to explore identity and creativity through self-portraits while learning essential drawing and painting techniques. Lessons cover proportions, colour mixing, composition, and abstraction, with opportunities to experiment using collage and cartoon styles. Teens are also encouraged to paint freely on subjects of their choice—such as landscapes, abstract art, or personal themes—allowing them to develop their own artistic voice in a supportive, inspiring environment. Join us for a hands-on, supportive, and inspiring painting journey – and see just what you can create! 🧒 Ages 11+ 🎨 All materials provided 👩‍🎨 Led by our newest skilled art tutor Emmeline Batten What to Bring: 🥪 Water bottle and a snack 👕 Kids should wear old clothes—we get messy when we’re having fun! Additional Info: 🔹 All staff are police-vetted for your peace of mind. 🔹 Parents are not allowed in the classroom once the workshop begins. If your child needs a little encouragement, feel free to stay on-site. 🔹Shoes must be worn during the class 🔹Workshop timings: Classes begin promptly at 3:45 pm and conclude at 5:15 pm. Please ensure timely drop-off and pick-up, as our studios operate back-to-back sessions.
