Printing with Pronto with Val Cuthbert
Pronto is a 21st Century version of stone lithography Saturday, 21 March 11:00am to 2:00pm.
Class Description
Pronto is a 21st Century version of stone lithography and offers a similar image with great texture, but using technology instead of rock. In the past we have been able to draw directly onto the pronto paper, but recent versions have not allowed that so we begin with plain paper, make a detailed tonal drawing, or a painting, or create an image using a computer programme. This image is then fed through a laster printer and printed onto paper. This workshop covers the creation of images using pencil or paint. Scanning into the computer and printing via laser. Printing the pronto paper through a press. No member discount is offered for this workshop. This workshop is offered at a discount price due to funding from Creative Community Scheme.
