Class Description

Mixed Media Art & Photography for Youth Explore colours, shapes, and compositions while discovering your own artistic style! In this fun, mixed media class, you’ll experiment with photography basics (using your own device), collage, pastels, acrylics, and other craft techniques to create unique and personal artworks. The focus is on fun, creativity, and self-expression. We’ll have interactive sessions exploring why you like art, how to create art you love, and how to express your ideas in different ways. This class is perfect for anyone who is new to art, wants to learn basic photography and art skills, or doesn’t see themselves as a “typical” artist but still wants to be creative. All artistic backgrounds and abilities are welcome! The class is run by our local talented photographer Jayde Maloyd. Find out more about her work at Total 8 sessions - $27 per 1,5hr session | inclusive of all materials and printing. 🧒 Ages 10 -18 years. 🎨 All materials provided 👩‍🎨 Led by an experienced art tutor Jayde Maloyd What to Bring: Your own device with a camera: Smart Phone, ipad & DSLR or any photography device - all welcome 🥪 Water bottle and a snack 👕 Kids should wear old clothes—we get messy when we’re having fun! Additional Info: 🔹 All staff are police-vetted for your peace of mind. 🔹 Parents are not allowed in the classroom once the workshop begins.
