Class Description
Intermediate to Advanced Acrylic or Oil Painting with Ingrid Boot This Thursday afternoon class is for artists who are already creating and wish to improve their art. Ingrid will guide you in all aspects of art including how to see, ways to draw, colour mixing, composition and more. A weekly study and practical application at the start of each session alongside your current painting will help to take your art to the next level. As an award winning artist she will add value and a different flavour to what you already know and do to bring the "WOW factor" to your already amazing paintings. Pricing Breakdown: Members Price : 285.00 Incl. GST $35.63 per class ($11.75 per hour). Non-member price : $300.00 Incl GST $37.50 per class ($12.50 per hour). Membership: Current EAC members will receive 5% discount. Please use your membership number as the PROMO code. Prerequisites: Intermediate to Advanced painters welcome. Supplies: Students required to bring their own art supplies (i.e.: paints, brushes and canvas, paper or board) 1. Pencil or charcoal / rubber 2. Ruler always helpful 3. Assorted Paint brushes 4. Roll of paper towel- NB!!!! 5. Mixing Pallet (Stay wet pallet works very well) 6. Pallet knife 7. Roll of glad wrap (plastic food wrap) 8. Notebook to take notes down 9. Gesso (white and/or black) 10. Spare canvas (small canvas panel/board for practicing) very helpful 11. Water spray bottle (if using acrylic) 12. Masking tape 13. Acrylic or oil paint: Phthalo blue; French Ultramarine, Alizarin Crimson or Carmine red, Cadmium red Hue, Cadmium yellow, Carbon or Ivory Black, Titanium white, Sap Green, Magenta, Yellow Ochre, Raw Umber, Burnt Sienna For those who do not know yet, if you mention that you are a student at the Orewa Estuary Art estuary you get a 10% discount at Gordon Harris in Albany.
