Class Description

Celebrate your furry (or feathered!) friends in this fun and creative painting workshop! Kids will learn how to sketch and paint their favourite pet—or dream up an imaginary animal friend—while exploring colours, shapes, and textures. With guidance from an experienced tutor, they’ll discover simple techniques for capturing personality and expression, creating a one-of-a-kind portrait to treasure. This workshop encourages creativity, observation skills, and artistic confidence while giving kids a special keepsake of their beloved companion! With step-by-step guidance, kids will: 🎨 Develop their own unique character 🖊️ Create a quick sketch 🧠 Painting skills to bring the portrait to life A fantastic workshop for imaginative kids who love to draw and dream up new adventures! 🧒 Ages 5-10 yrs 🎨 All materials provided 👩‍🎨 Led by our experienced Illustration tutor Diane. ✨ Want more creative fun? Join us for both morning an afternoon workshops and we look after your child during lunchtime for FREE What to Bring: 🥪 A snack and water bottle if attending one session 🍱 A lunchbox if attending both morning and afternoon workshops 👕 Kids should wear old clothes—we get messy when we’re having fun! Additional Info: 🔹 Children booked into both workshops will be supervised during the lunch break at no extra cost. 🔹 All staff are police-vetted for your peace of mind. 🔹 Parents are not allowed in the classroom once the workshop begins. If your child needs a little encouragement, feel free to stay on-site. We have comfortable seating in the foyer and the Driftwood Café is conveniently located in the building.
