Class Description

This fun, slower paced class with our wonderful tutor Sandra is for mature students who would like to try their hand at being creative with clay. In this non-threatening class with our wonderful Tutor Sandra Mather, you will learn about clay and how to hand-build with it. You will create a range of things from clay coil bowls, clay angels for the Christmas tree. Serving plates patterned with doilies, or trinket bowls. No pressure in this class just meeting new people and learning something new and having creative fun that is great for your overall health. Bring a friend/s. Cafe on site for a delicious snack and coffee. Clay is extra and can be purchased on the day. Firing and glazing fees are extra. Cost Breakdown Member: $261.25 Incl. GST = $32.66 per class ($13.06 per hour) Cost Breakdown Non Member: $275.00 Incl. GST = $34.38 per class ($13.75 per hour). Members: Current EAC members will receive 5% discount. Please use your membership number as the PROMO code. Prerequisite: Beginners welcome. Supplies: You will need a basic pottery tool kit which you can purchase from Kmart or any Two Dollar Store. Clay can be purchased from the Estuary Arts Centre Firing and Glazing Cost extra per piece.
