Drawing Into Print with Celia Walker

Class Description

Join Celia Walker in the Drawing into Print: a one day monotype printmaking workshop, exploring ways of direct drawing onto printmaking plates, combined with textural details created with offset printing techniques. Participants will learn ways to make unique print works that explore expressive drawing through the medium of print. Workshop participants will come away with a series of one-off print works, and different approaches to techniques such as trace monotype, offset and monoprint. Suitable for beginners and more experienced printmakers. All workshop materials will be provided. Please bring drawings or images to work from, and preferred drawing tools (ie charcoal, indian ink) Current members will receive 5% member discount.
