Design your Fun Tote bag
Thursday, 03rd July, 12:30pm to 3:00pm for Kids 5+
Class Description
Let your child dive into the world of wearable art in this hands-on creative workshop! Kids will design and decorate their very own fabric tote bag using a mix of fabric paints, stencils, stamps, and hand-sewn embellishments like buttons, ribbons, and patches. With guidance from our creative tutor, they’ll learn basic sewing and design techniques, explore colour, pattern, and personal expression, and walk away with a fabulous, functional piece of art they can use every day. A fun and inspiring session that builds confidence, fine motor skills, and creativity—perfect for young ones aged 5 and up who love to craft. 🧒 Ages 5+ 🎨 All materials provided 👩🎨 Led by our wonderful volunteers and textile masters; Diana & Pauline ✨ Want more creative fun? Join us for both morning an afternoon workshops and we look after your child during lunchtime for FREE What to Bring: 🥪 A snack and water bottle if attending one session 🍱 A lunchbox if attending both morning and afternoon workshops 👕 Kids should wear old clothes—we get messy when we’re having fun! Additional Info: 🔹 Children booked into both workshops will be supervised during the lunch break at no extra cost. 🔹 All staff are police-vetted for your peace of mind. 🔹 Parents are not allowed in the classroom once the workshop begins. If your child needs a little encouragement, feel free to stay on-site. We have comfortable seating in the foyer and the Driftwood Café is conveniently located in the building.
