Ever wanted to make bowls and vases that are bigger, bolder, and full of personality? This workshop is all about learning how to centre and throw larger amounts of clay with confidence. You’ll get hands-on guidance in: Throwing large forms – tips and techniques to make BIG bowls and vases 2-part throwing – how to build taller and wider pieces in sections Practical tricks & advice – making the process easier on your body and more enjoyable How to trim large forms. Price of $165.00 includes one bag of clay (10kg). Firing and glazing will cost extra / charged separately. $8.00 per kg for bisque and $10.00 for glaze firing. Prerequisites: Perfect for potters who already know the basics and want to take their throwing to the next level. Come prepared to get a little messy, have a good laugh, and leave with skills that will make your pots bigger and braver. Wear closed shoes. Bring an apron and your pottery tools.
