Beginners Pottery Afternoon with Di Toi

Class Description

In this class our skilled potter Di Toi will assist you to create wonderful pottery pieces for your home or to gift to family and friends for Christmas . Want to give pottery a try - come join this fun class. This class will focus on wheel throwing and hand building using slab work. Our skilled potter Di Toi will assist you to create wonderful pieces for your home or to gift to family and friends. Di has a wonderful step by step tutoring style to help you throw successfully on the wheel or if hand-building is more your style and Di will introduce you to some great slab-work projects to try. If you are at an Intermediate level, Di will help you throw bigger and demonstrate some design skills to enhance your pieces. Cost Breakdown: Members : $313.50 incl, GST, $39.19 per session ($13.06 per hour). Non-members: $330.00 incl. GST; $41.25 per session ($13.75 per hour). Members: Current EAC members will receive 5% discount. Please use your membership number as the PROMO code. Prerequisites: Beginners and Intermediates welcome. Supplies: Basic tool kit available from the Estuary Arts Centre or the tutor. Clay can be purchased from EAC on the day. Clay, firing and glazing costs are extra. Please bring an apron, a hand towel and some plastic bags.
