About
Amanda Morton - Sculpted Form
Mixed media artist Amanda loves using a variety of media, including drawing, painting, and ceramic sculpture, and believes that nothing should be off-limits. Most of her inspiration is drawn from the natural environment, whether it be bush, beach or her own backyard. Earthy tones, natural textures and shapes are a common thread throughout her work, and figurative elements are integral to her artistic expression. Intrigued by the metamorphic changes in nature caused by the effects of fire, water and wind, erosion and decay, Amanda’s ceramic work, which is mostly sculptural, often incorporates various natural materials as embellishments, including copper, feathers and wood.
Anna Deacon - Woven - Beyond the Loom
Anna’s multidisciplinary response explores the potential of mixing artistic mediums and traditional crafts to build creations that traverse the concept. Her 2D and 3D artworks capture movement within stillness and weave the voids to find the interconnectivity between strands and form while additionally embracing the beauty of pixelated design. Anna loves to explore the potential of numerous artistic mediums, learning new tacit skills and integrating them into her practice.
Artwork includes, sculptural clay, painting, drawing, photography, wood carving, lost wax casting and woven tapestry.
