Intro to Printmaking with Val Cuthbert

Class Description

This introduction will cover all aspects of Drypoint Printmaking. it will include making a print with a full discussion about the materials used and the potential for drypoint in artmaking. We will choose an image from those offered, use a drypoint needle to scratch the image into plastic sheet then print this onto dampened paper using printing ink through the press. At least one image will be printed to take away. No membership discount for this workshop. Beginners welcome. 12+ years welcome
