Intro to Linocut Printmaking with Val

Class Description

This introduction will cover all aspects of Linocut Printmaking. it will include making a print with a full discussion about the materials used and the potential for linocut in artmaking. We will choose an image from those offered, transfer the design onto lino, use lino cutting tools to cut out the image and then print this through the press using printing ink onto paper. At least one image will be printed to take away. No membership discount for this workshop. Beginners welcome. 12+ years welcome
